Hi, I'm Amanda Richards, and I am seeking a position in an Academic Library.

Amanda Richards is a recent graduate from the University of South Florida in the Master of Library and Information Science Program.  She has both volunteered and worked for the Univsersity of Central Florida Hitt Library. From May 2011 through April 2012 she worked in the UCF Special Collections and University Archives department under the supervision of the Senior Archivist, Sandra Varry. During her year at UCF she processed collections, worked on book repair, updated finding aids, and created exhibits for the library. She also volunteered several hours a week to work the reference desk at UCF where she gained experience answering reference questions.
